Our Flower Patch is available for photographers to use as a canvas for their clients. It provides a natural and unique outdoor setting to capture some of life’s precious moments.
Hours: Photography hours follow the U-Pick hours. Open Mon-Sat 7am-8pm. Open on Sunday only during the Tulip Season. Open for holidays. If you wish for hours outside of these please contact us with your request and we will try to accommodating your needs.
Props & Furniture: Have fun with this! You may bring props & furniture within reason. :) Please contact us ahead of time for any unique/very large items you are considering bringing. Note that any damage occurring to your items is your responsibility. Please do not damage our gardens/property with props.
Mini Seasons: Mini seasons with multiple clients are welcomed.
Restrooms: A porta potty will be on site and have a small mirror in it.
Pets: You may bring a well-behaved pet along for a photo season if you contact us ahead of time requesting permission. Please do not allow the animal to venture into the flowers or off the paths. Also note that we do have animals on our farm. Access to the sheep pasture is off limits unless prior approval has been granted. We have a friendly Australian Shephard dog named Mia roaming around. She loves attention and can be vocal when seeing new people (she is very nice). Mia is on an invisible dog fence and cannot access the flower garden but may visit a limited part of the grass field along the driveway. We are not responsible for how she may react to you or your pet. She is easily avoided by remaining in the flower garden, tree line or grass at the potting shed. If this is a concern to you, please notify us and we will pen her up.
Boundaries: Please respect our personal boundaries/signs as our home residence/yard and machinery shed are off limits. Also please refrain from entering the sheep pasture field (I know it is so tempting!) but feel free to have them in the background of your photos through the fence!
Cost: $20 for 30 minutes of time and $40 for an hour. Payable by cash or check in the potting shed or online through our website store by credit card.
Note: Our Flower Patch is open to the public throughout the day and there is a chance other people may be visiting the patch during your photo season. If we find schedules become too busy to adequately accommodate everyone to an exceptional level, we may consider offering scheduled photography sessions where you would have exclusive access to the garden.
