Our Story

Welcome to Royal Oaks Farm!

We are the Zieglers and are excited to share our passion for the outdoors and plants with all who come.

Through this adventure we hope to teach our children about business, finances, horticulture and most importantly how they can bring joy to others. Sharing blooms with family and friends blesses others and brightens everyone’s day.

The men of Royal Oaks Farm have been busy enlarging the garden area, amending the soil and trenching water lines. Lots of lessons have been learned and these have been good experiences for Corbin (age 9).

The ladies of Royal Oaks Farm have been planting lots and lots of seeds/tubers/plants and diligently pulling weeds while searching for that ‘first flower' of the season! Kiera (age 5) is the champion sunflower seed planter (as those seeds are the largest) and Adelyn (age 7) loves to walk the flower paths and care for the sheep! It is a joy to see how much the children learn while helping out.

Besides the flowers, Royal Oaks Farm has 21 sheep (nobody liked mowing the hillside and lambs are sooo cute!), lots of chickens and a dog named Mia. Mia will likely greet you from a distance when you come as she can’t access the parking area/potting shed or the flower patch. Separate from Royal Oaks Farm and across the road is a dairy farm where we milk 200 cows. Our children are the 6th generation to work on the farm where the milk is sold locally under the DairyPure(Swiss Premium) brand.

When we aren’t farming we enjoy escaping to the mountains, hiking, country dancing, amusement parks and ice cream shops!

If you see us out and about please don’t hesitate to say hello! We look forward to sharing our garden with you!
